Kentucky Wildcats

Whether it’s John Calipari or Mark Pope leading the program, Kentucky will always be a premier destination for top-tier prospects. The team will be losing several senior frontcourt players after next season, including Andrew Carr, Ansley Almonor, and Amari Williams. Ament would be the first big prospect in the Pope era and his game fits his system better than most other 2025 targets.

Louisville Cardinals

New head coach Pat Kelsey landed 12 transfers this offseason to immediately bolster the roster. Going forward, look for them to try to land some big-name freshmen prospects. Forward is a big need, as Kasean Pryor, Aboubacar Traore, and Noah Waterman will all be gone after next season. Ament would be the face of the new era of Louisville Basketball and be the biggest individual pickup for the program yet.

Maryland Terrapins

Even after landing a few good transfers this offseason, Maryland doesn’t have much depth at the four-spot. Assuming 5-star center prospect Derik Queen plays well, look for senior Julian Reese to play some at power forward. Either way, this team has a big need for a star big man to have an impact early on. Ament would easily get a large role as a freshman and would get to stay close to home for a notable program.
