One of the best frontcourt prospects in the 2025 NCAA Basketball recruiting class is Tounde Yessoufou, a consensus top-30 player overall in the class. The 6’5 forward comes from the state of California and has become a 5-star caliber recruit to watch, coming off a strong AAU session in July.

Yessoufou is one of the more versatile players in the entire 2025 class, using his size and improved shooting ability to play and defend several positions. His offense has become well-rounded, including being a true threat from three-point range.

The talented wing prospect has provided an update on his recruitment, with 10 teams officially in the mix to land him. A bunch of them have already set up visits with the five-star prospect. Which of them is the best potential overall?

Here’s a closer look at how Yessoufou would fit with each of the seven teams.

Arizona Wildcats

The Wildcats have a 5-star freshman wing joining the team in Carter Bryant, who could be a “one and done” player to the NBA. But even if he stayed for another year, this team doesn’t have much depth on the wings anyway, with just Campbell transfer Anthony Dell’Roso also on the roster. With Yessoufou’s ability to play multiple positions, he could be the next Pelle Larsson for Coach Tommy Lloyd. Considering how well Arizona has been on offense, they’ll be an appealing spot to keep him out west.
