Jalen Haralson is a consensus 5-star prospect in the 2025 NCAA Basketball recruiting class, ranked in the top-10 overall per 247sportsComposite. He's a 6'7 small forward with tremendous athleticism and capability to get to the basket. He has all the tools to be an elite two-way player and potential "one and done" to the NBA.

Haralson, who hails from Fishers, Indiana, had a previous top-9 list in March. And recently, he's now set three official visits, all being fairly local schools. This might not be a top-3 list but here's a closer look at how he'd fit with each future program with a visit.

Indiana Hoosiers

The Hoosiers have a lot of five-star talent throughout its frontcourt right now, including starters Malik Reneau and Mackenzie Mgbako, as well as incoming 5-star wing prospect, Bryson Tucker. There's a possibility that at least two of them will go pro after next season, opening a spot for Haralson. The fact that they're the "local" option of the group should also help in their favor.

Michigan State Spartans

Although former 5-star prospect Xavier Booker had his struggles as a freshman this past season, Coach Tom Izzo still has a lengthy record of the past development of frontcourt players who ultimately became quality NBA players, such as Draymond Green, Xavier Tillman, and Jaren Jackson Jr. With transfer Frankie Fidler only around for one year, Haralson would have a clear pathway to being a focal point of the offense in year 1.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Coach Micah Shrewsberry has a core backcourt duo of the future in Markus Burton and Braden Shrewsberry and is looking for a better frontcourt to get back into postseason contention. Garrett Sundra is a four-star freshman prospect, while Tae Davis and Kebba Njie are veteran forwards with a couple of years of eligibility.

Of the three teams (assuming they're the favorites), Notre Dame offers the best possible role early on, while both Indiana and Michigan also could have him as a starter. Haralson would be the prize recruit for any of these teams and all have their own reasons for landing him but it might be had to pass up playing for Coach Izzo.
