One of the top class of 2025 NCAA Basketball prospects in the "DMV" area is Adrien Stevens, a 6'4 guard from Potomac, Maryland. He's a consensus four-star recruit, with 247sports having him in the top 100 overall. His size and two-way ability make Stevens an appealing prospect to watch, one that has plenty of power conference interest.

Now, Stevens, reportedly is down to six options, including some big names. Assuming this is the final list before a future decision, here's a look at how he'd fit with each option.

Florida State Seminoles

The Seminoles have a pair of four-star class of 2025 commits in forward Alier Maluk and Dwayne Wimbley Jr., who is more of a natural wing. After losing losing several guards to the portal this offseason, FSU lacks backcourt depth. They'd certainly be able to offer Stevens a large role in the offense as a freshman. The one big question is how much longer HC Leonard Hamilton remains with the program, given his advance age.

Georgetown Hoyas

Georgetown represents the "hometown" option for Stevens and the rebuilding program could use his services in the 2025 class. The team has four-star freshmen Caleb Williams and Kayvaun Mulready in the backcourt to pair with Jayden Epps and Harvard transfers, Malik Mack. Assuming how the freshmen look, Stevens may have to wait a year before meaningful minutes but would be able to play close to home.

Marquette Golden Eagles

The one commit in the 2025 class so far for Marquette is Ian Miletic, a four-star wing prospect. The backcourt is where they need to address, as they'll be losing leading scorer Kam Jones, along with Stevie Mitchell. The Golden Eagles will need a new capable scorer on the perimeter in the future and this option can allow Stevens to play both on and off the ball if he were to pick them.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish

In just a short time as head coach in NCAA Basketball, Micah Shrewsberry has a good history of guard development. At Notre Dame, there's plenty of underclassmen talent, including Markus Burton and Braeden Shrewsberry, along with four-star incoming freshmen prospects, Cole Certa and Sir Mohammed. The issue here for class of 2025 guys like Stevens is whether there's a path to playing time or if they'll be in a clear logjam.

Tennessee Volunteers

Tennessee's backcourt situation is much different than Notre Dame, as almost all of its guards are entering their senior seasons. That includes Jordan Gainey, Zakai Zeigler, and incoming transfer, Chaz Lanier. Four-star commit Bishop Boswell is one of the only underclassmen in the group and this is an option where Stevens could have the ball in his hands more since the Vols don't have ball-handlers on the roster as of now going forward.

Villanova Wildcats

Villanova's projected backcourt rotation includes a few seniors in Wooga Poplar, Jordan Longino, and La Salle transfer, Jhamir Brickus. That leaves Penn transfer Tyler Perkins, as well as four-star incoming freshman, Aleksandar Gavalyugov.

There's definitely a big need for a prospect like Stevens to come in out the gate and have a big role early. The question here is how long HC Kyle Neptune will be around if the program fails to make the postseason next year.
