Michigan Wolverines

New HC Dusty May has landed two capable ball-handlers to run the offense next season in Tre Donaldson and Rubin Jones, with Jones gone after next season. The team does have a pair of three-star freshmen guards joining in Durral Brooks and Lorenzo Cason. On paper, Boozer is better than these guys, and May’s development with Johnell Davis is a selling point in his favor to find a star in the 2025 class.

North Carolina Tar Heels

It feels sacrilege to even think that a son of a former legend would go to a hated rival. But these days, players seem to be more willing if the situation is right. And after seeing RJ Davis develop into a 20 ppg scorer and ACC Player of the Year, that’s a real sell that Coach Hubert Davis can make to future guard prospects. Elliot Cadeau is still around but he and Boozer could play together in the backcourt for a year if he were to pick the Heels.

UConn Huskies

With Coach Dan Hurley staying for the foreseeable future, look for the program to start loading up on 5-star talent. They landed former Indiana commit Liam McNeeley and have senior Hassan Diarra to run the offense next season. They’ll need someone like Boozer to come into the fold and be a star playmaker and with the recent success of multiple players going to the NBA, UConn could be a major contender in this sweepstakes.

In the end, it may be too difficult for any team to not get either Cayden or Cameron Boozer but until a commitment is made, these and maybe other teams won’t stop trying.
