Harvard Crimson

The lone mid-major on the list, the Harvard Crimson, will have to shock the college basketball world if head coach Tommy Amaker can land the talents of Eric Reibe. Thankfully for Harvard, Tommy Amaker is an elite recruiter considering the academic constraints surrounding the program.

He is known to land the occasional four-star recruit, such as the most recent recruits in Elzie Harrington (2025) and Robert Hinton (2024). Pairing Reibe with the guards would make Reibe among the most influential incoming recruits in the country. However, the Crimson beat will need to beat out the blue bloods -- which is a big hill to climb.

Indiana Hoosiers

After the conclusion of this upcoming season, the Indiana Hoosiers will likely see the departure of forward Mackenzie Mgbako, who finds himself as a projected first-round pick, according to most 2025 NBA Mock Drafts. If Mgbako gets drafted, it marks the fourth player who played a season or more under head coach Mike Woodson to get drafted in the NBA: Trayce Jackson-Davis Jalen Hood-Schifino and Kel’el Ware.

Although Hood-Schifino -- and likely Mgbako -- are the only “true” recruits from Woodson (Archie Miller recruited Jackson-Davis while Ware spent a season at Oregon), Mike Woodson has shown his knack for getting guys in the NBA, which can be a major selling point for Eric Reibe. Witha healthy NIL situation in its back pocket and a frontcourt piece expected to leave, the Hoosiers shouldn’t be ruled out for landing Eric Reibe.
