In these new days of the NCAA Basketball transfer portal, there are now plenty of players that are going to their third team in three years. One of those will be TJ Bamba, a 6'5 guard from the Bronx, New York. A year ago, he was one of the top players in the portal, coming off a career year at Washington State, averaging 15.8 ppg.

After going to Villanova, Bamba and the team both underachieved. The player averaged 10.1 ppg on 37% shooting from deep but had his struggles, while the team missed the NCAA Tournament. The senior guard hit the portal again for his final year of eligibility and still has gotten plenty of interest from power conference programs.

Bamba is now down to a final six list, including some big names. Here's a closer look at his potential fit with each of them.

Florida Gators

The Gators have lost two key guards this offseason in Zyon Pullin and Riley Kugel. They added FAU transfer guard Alijah Martin, who averaged over 13 ppg last season and is a good rebounder. Bamba would give them a nice scoring threat to the offense but if Will Richard is back and starts at the 3-spot, it's hard to see them being a great option for Bamba, unless he is good with being the 6th Man.

Kentucky Wildcats

New HC Mark Pope is slowly building the roster, having recently landing former Drexel big man, Amari Williams. There's still 10 more spots to fill and Bamba would have the chance to have a big role on a premier NCAA Basketball program. The main question here is who else would be joining the Wildcats in the coming weeks.
