Andrew Carr is one of the top stretch forwards in the NCAA Basketball transfer portal. Which teams are in the mix to land him?

On a Wake Forest team with talented scorers includes Andrew Carr, who scored a career-high 13.5 ppg and 6.8 rpg on 53% shooting from the field and 37% from deep. The 6'8 forward had five games of at least 20 points, including 31 in the season-finale loss to Georgia in the NIT.

Carr, who hails from West Chester, Philadelphia, entered the transfer portal and got some big interest. Recently, he's taken a few visits and could be making a decision soon. Based on the programs we know about, here's a closer look at his potential fit with each of them.

Kentucky Wildcats

The Wildcats have recently landed two key guards in Lamont Butler and Otega Oweh. They also have Drexel transfer Amari Williams, who can play the five-spot. The power forward position is still open and Carr would be a welcomed offensive addition to the lineup. If they land Utah State transfer Great Osobor, who can play the four as well though, then Carr might not start at this option.

Texas Tech Red Raiders

Texas Tech is an interesting option because even among its roster changes, they still have Darrion Williams, a 6'6 combo forward who led them in rebounding. He played the power forward spot but Williams and Carr can play together. Or, Carr can play some at the center position behind Pitt transfer Federiko Federiko and give the Red Raiders a huge spacing lineup.

Villanova Wildcats

As the closest option to home, Villanova automatically stands out in this recruitment. And they have plenty of room available in the frontcourt, as Tyler Burton, Lance Ware, and Eric Dixon are all gone. This is an option that can offer Carr the most playing time and biggest role, though on paper, it's the riskiest one in terms of making the NCAA Tournament.
