One of the top class of 2025 NCAA Basketball prospects from the state of Ohio is Dorian Jones, a 6'4 true shooting guard. He has both good size and a natural scoring ability, making him somewhat that can impact the college game right away.

Jones recently announced a list of four teams in the running for his services, including a local option. But which of them is the best potential fit? Here's a closer look at how Jones would fit with each of the reported contenders.

Michigan Wolverines

The shooting guard situation for Michigan is led by Ohio State transfer, Roddy Gayle Jr. and Nimari Burnett. Gayle will be gone in two years and Burnett has one more season left. But Jones has a great shot at being in the rotation next to the current freshmen core of Justin Pippen and Lorenzo Cason. Coach Dusty May has a great selling point point ot make of former FAU stars, Johnell Davis and Alijah Martin.

Missouri Tigers

The Tigers landed a bunch of transfers this offseason to get back on track in the SEC. Including guys like Marques Warrick, Tamar Bates, and Jacob Crews, all of them are seniors and will be gone, allowing Jones to potentially get a large role as soon as next season. Coach Dennis Gates has a good history of development with guards, including D'Moi Hodge two years ago.

Ohio State Buckeyes

The projected "two-guard" for the Buckeyes next season is Meechie Johnson, a transfer from South Carolina entering his final season. Outside of incoming freshman guard Colin White, there's not much depth among the off-guards. The Cleveland native would have the chance to get a meaningful role and be able to stay home for the rebuilding program.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Rutgers is loaded at guard for next season, led by 5-star incoming freshmen, Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper. Seniors Tyson Acuff and PJ Hayes will be around for one year as well, leaving plenty of open room for someone like Jones to come in and get early minutes.

Without knowing what the transfer portal will look like a year from now, all four programs can offer meaningful playing time to Jones early. Plus, all of them all coming off missing the NCAA Tournament so the sell is that he's going to be part of building for the future. Can any of them get Jones to leave Ohio?
