Dezmon Briscoe is a consensus top-150 overall prospect in the 2025 NCAA Basketball recruiting class, coming from Indianapolis, Indiana. He's listed at 6'8 and 225 pounds and a physical big man, capable of playing both inside positions.

Briscoe is a solid athlete with a nice motor, whose post skills should make him a legit offensive option at the high-major level. His recruitment has gone to another level, with six programs in the mix.

Does any of them stand out in terms of fit? Here's a closer look at each of Briscoe's options.

Butler Bulldogs

The Bulldogs represent the "hometown" option for Briscoe, team who already has young depth in the frontcourt. Colt Langdon, a four-star prospect, reclassed to join the team this upcoming season and Boden Kapke and Augusto Cassia are back for second years. Briscoe could get minutes at the five-spot since Andre Screen will be gone a year from now but if power forward is his ideal spot in the Big East, that could be an issue.

Cincinnati Bearcats

Among the transfers Cincy added this offseason includes Arrinten Page, a former top-100 prospect anf former USC Trojan. Even if Texas transfer Dillon Mitchell plays more at the three-spot, the Bearcats do have young frontcourt depth, including incoming four-star freshman forward, Tyler McKinley. The recruiting has started to improve under Coach Wes Miller so it may have gotten to a point where Briscoe eventually struggles to get a bigger role.

DePaul Blue Demons

DePaul has a new roster and HC (Chris Holtmann) that includes transfer forwards, JJ Traynor and NJ Benson. Traynor will be gone after next season, leaving room for someone like Briscoe to come in and have an immediate impact as a freshman. Due to it being a rebuilding situation, it could be a good spot for Briscoe to avoid being on benched at the power conference level.

Duquesne Dukes

New Coach Dru Joyce is hoping that his connections to LeBron James helps the Dukes be more viable with top-100 caliber prospects in the future. This is a Duquense roster that landed a ton of transfers and is largely upperclassmen, including transfers, Alex Williams and Jahsean Corbett. This is the option where Briscoe is just about guaranteed a key role in the rotation as a freshman and could be future star at the A-10 level.

Iowa Hawkeyes

The Hawkeyes and its ability to develop frontcourt players into offensive talents is going to be a key sell for Briscoe. Thing is, even with star forward Payton Sandfort set to leave after next season, Iowa has plenty of young frontcourt depth to work with, including incoming freshmen, Chris Tadjo and Cooper Koch. Plus, as long as he doesn't enter the portal, Owen Freeman has three more years of eligibility. There could be too much of a logjam to deal with here.

Xavier Musketeers

The frontcourt situation for the Musketeers is clear for the future, as all of the forwards are entering their last seasons. That includes Zach Freemantle and transfer Lassina Traore. So for now, Xavier is wide open for class of 2025 commits to come in and have large roles out the gate, even if they add some transfers in the following offseason.
