North Carolina Tar Heels

The Tar Heels will have one of the best guards in all of NCAA Basketball next season in RJ Davis, a 20 ppg scorer and ACC Player of the Year. He’ll be gone after next season, while Elliott Cadeau is both a sophomore breakout candidate, while also being a possible pro candidate to watch in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Whether Cadeau leaves or not, there would still be a role for Lewis to join and have a real role early on, since Seth Trimble is the only other guard on the projected 2025-26 roster. What also could help UNC is that they haven’t been after many other key ball-handlers in the 2025 class, unlike most of the other teams on this list.

Syracuse Orange

With star guard Judah Mintz gone, the backcourt situation for the Orange features junior guard JJ Starling, as well as senior transfer, Jaquan Carlos. There will be a need for another ball-handler no matter what and Lewis would be a nice perimeter duo teammate for Starling if he were to pick them.

Syracuse already has a four-star wing commit in the 2025 class in Sadiq White Jr. They need both a forward and a guard to round out the class and compared to other targets, Lewis would be the top option for the program and a legit chance to start out the gate.
