4. Billy Richmond - No. 25 prospect

Richmond is a 6’5 wing from Memphis who is a very skilled offensive player while showing flashes of being a great two-way player in the future. He was one of the later commits for Coach Cal at Kentucky, beating out Alabama, Memphis, and LSU for his services.

It was somewhat a surprise that Richmond didn’t stay home at Memphis but depending on what star wing David Jones does, it could make sense for him to go there. LSU and Alabama make less sense from the roster fit and he could simply follow Coach Cal over to Arkansas, which is currently wide open on the wings.

3. Boogie Fland - No. 19 prospect

The best guard available from the 2024 class, Fland is a 6’3 ball-handler from New York. He’s an elite playmaker and can score at a high level, right up there with the consensus top point guard in the class, Dylan Harper. In one of the hardest-fought recruitments, Fland picked Calipari and Kentucky.

That’s not happening with the Wildcats but he could go to Arkansas instead. Other teams to watch that were in the mix the last time include St. John’s, Alabama, Michigan, and UConn. Considering that the Red Storm doesn’t have a lead guard right now, can Coach Rick Pitino find a way to get his first five-star commit since his Louisville days?
