In the past few days, we've had some notable centers from the NCAA Basketball transfer portal pick their locations. Names includes John Hugley (Xavier), Oumar Ballo (Arizona), Aaron Bradshaw (Ohio State) and Cameron Corhen (Pittsburgh). There are still plenty of quality impact centers for teams still looking for one. That includes Clifford Omoruyi, a 6'10 center from Rutgers.

The big man started the last three years, averaging around 12 ppg and 9.0 rpg. Omoruyi (2.9 bpg) was one of the top shot-blockers in the country this past season and is known for being an elite interior presence. He's had plenty of interest from teams in the portal and we now know which ones are officially in the running for his services.

From a roster and potential to win standpoint, here's how I would rank Omoruyi's options.

12. Washington Huskies

We're at the point in the offseason where new coaches are going to have an uphill climb in attracting top free agents, unless you're one of the big national programs. That's the case at Washington, who got a good hire of Danny Sprinkle from Utah State. Even if he brings with him forward Great Osobor, it's hard to envision them being better in the Big Ten than the program Omoruyi recently left at Rutgers. So for now, it's hard to view them as a viable option.

11. Georgia Bulldogs

The Bulldogs have lost a few key pieces this offseason, including guards Justin Hill and Jabri Abdur-Rahim. The frontcourt, which wasn't strong last season to begin with, is without Russel Tchewa now. There's no question that Omoruyi would get a massive role at Georgia but from a potential winning standpoint, it's hard to see them being an NCAA Tournament contender, compared to others.
