10. Auburn Tigers - F Johni Broome

Only one player in the SEC finished in the top ten last season in both points and rebounds. Auburn forward Johni Broome averaged 16.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while also owning leaderboards in blocks and efficiency. The stage is set for an encore performance, hopefully minus any feuds with famous actors like Morgan Freeman.

9. North Carolina Tar Heels - G RJ Davis

The RJ Davis experience in Chapel Hill has been wild, with some big highs and low lows. The ACC Player of the Year still has eligibility to burn after averaging 21.2 points per game a year ago, including nailing nearly 40 percent of his threes. He's going to set numerous school records in his fifth season with the North Carolina Tar Heels and could deliver his squad to loftier heights.

8. Connecticut Huskies - F Alex Karaban

The Connecticut Huskies' hopes for a historic three-peat looked dire before Alex Karaban decided to drop out of the NBA Draft at the last possible moment. Karaban isn't as flashy as many of the players from Dan Hurley's last two title teams - or even some of this coming year's teammates - but he basically does everything right, and consistently at that. Last year, he averaged 13.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

7. Baylor Bears - G Jeremy Roach

Former Duke guard Jeremy Roach was one of the best players in the transfer portal, receiving no shortage of interest from top programs. The Third-Team All-ACC honoree averaged 14 points and 3.3 assists per game during his fourth and final year in Durham, hitting 42.9 percent of his three-point attempts. He'll fill the hole left by RayJ Dennis and help shepherd some of Baylor's young stars into Waco.

6. Duke Blue Devils - F Cooper Flagg

Cooper Flagg isn't Victor Wembanyama, but he is the most hyped prospect since then (granted, that wasn't all that long ago). The scuttlebutt coming out of the Team USA scrimmage before the Paris Olympics only added fuel to the fire. The forward will only spend one season in college, but that season is expected to be Player of the Year caliber.
