5. Tramon Mark (Arkansas)

Mark’s three year journey at Houston was full of twists and turns, playing in the Final Four as a freshman before an injury cost him almost all of his second collegiate season. He bounced back nicely in year three before opting to transfer. Mark landed at Arkansas after being one of the most coveted players in the Transfer Portal. Despite a rough season for the Razorbacks, Mark was a standout star in Eric Musselman’s final year in Fayetteville.

Mark averaged 16.2 points and 4.3 rebounds while making 36% of his 3-pointers. He had the best scoring numbers of his career, fitting in nicely in the SEC and as the top scorer for these Razorbacks. Unfortunately, Arkansas finished 11th in the league and were under .500, though Mark certainly can’t be blamed for those results, finishing Top 10 in the SEC in points per game.

He put on a show at the Battle 4 Atlantis, scoring 25 points in an overtime win over Stanford before a 34-point outing against North Carolina two days later. As mentioned, SEC play didn’t go well, but Mark did have 35 points in a win over Texas A&M. He’d also score 23 at Kentucky late in the year and ignited a first round win in the SEC Tournament with 18 points against Vanderbilt. His production took a massive step forward with the Razorbacks and we’ll see if that continues at Texas next season.
