NCAA Basketball: Top 10 players to wear jersey No. 14 in 2023-24 season

Ebby Asamoah (East Tennessee State)
An important piece of the puzzle this season for the Buccaneers, Asamoah had previously spent the last four years at Delaware. His lone year in the SoCon saw him average 15.6 points and 3.9 rebounds on an ETSU team that won 19 games and fared decently in the league. Asamoah was among the national leaders in made 3-pointers this season and played really well during his team’s run to the title game of the SoCon Tournament.
Kyler Filewich (Wofford)
After showing promise as an underclassman at Southern Illinois, Filewich has spent the last two years at Wofford and really took a step forward as a senior. A full-time starter for the first time in his career, he dazzled at times with 9.4 points and 8.8 rebounds a game, becoming an important forward for the Terriers. Not only was he one of the SoCon’s top rebounders, Filewich made 58% of his field goals and had decent defensive metrics as well.
Javohn Garcia (McNeese State)
There were a lot of important faces on McNeese’s incredible season, and this former UMass guard was one of them. After spending last year at the College of the Sequoias, Garcia returned to D1 basketball and played really well, averaging 11.2 points and 3.3 rebounds per game on a Cowboys team that won 30 games and marched to the NCAA Tournament. Garcia also made 44% of his 3-pointers and had a pair of standout efforts in his conference tournament.
Brandon Noel (Wright State)
After sitting out his first two seasons at Wright State, Noel has turned into quite the playmaker for the Raiders. Previously the Horizon League Rookie of the Year, he just averaged 14.5 point and 8.0 rebounds in an impressive sophomore season, one in which he made 40% of his 3-pointers as one of the league’s top shooters. He also earned Second Team All-Horizon honors, helping Wright State to a 3rd place finish in the conference.
Johnny O’Neil (Santa Clara)
A stud previously in the Patriot League, O’Neil transferred from American to Santa Clara this past offseason. The Florida native became a starting forward for the Broncos, putting up 11.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. He was a key part of a 20-win campaign that saw Santa Clara finish 4th in the WCC. O’Neil would sit among the league leaders in rebounds, blocks, and a few other defensive metrics.
