The college basketball season starts in early November and ends in early April, but that’s just the time on the court. There’s a lot of action outside of the basketball arenas as we’ve seen these last two months. Coaches have been hired, many players have changed programs, and the anticipation only grows until the next season begins, but we can’t quickly forget what we’ve recently seen.

It can be easy to forget even the biggest stars of a college basketball season. Few can remember all of the shining stars from ten years ago, let alone further basketball in history. This past season gave us memorable moments throughout, concluding in another national title for Connecticut. That fact will be remembered for generations to come, but some of these individuals won’t be remembered.

This current article series has been how we’re remembering the past season. We have taken time to break down a list of players for each jersey number, starting back at #0 a few weeks ago. It’s important to remember that there’s nothing about a player’s uniform that dictates what kind of player they are or how successful they’ll be. This is just a fun exercise that has already exposed us to dozens of fantastic basketball players from the past season.

Having finished the single-digit numbers and the teens, we’re progressing into the twenties with the best players who wore #20. It’s important to note that we skipped the players between #16 and #19, as those numbers were only worn by a few players. We’ll get back to those numbers in a later piece. For now, it’s all about a few honorable mentions and a number of notable #20’s from the last year.
