10. Chucky Hepburn (Wisconsin)

Originally from Omaha, Hepburn arrived in Madison back in 2021 and got right to work with the Badgers. He spent the last three seasons as the starting point guard for Wisconsin, with varying levels of success throughout that journey. There were up and downs this past season, with Hepburn’s scoring totals down from his sophomore season, but he still stood out on this Badgers squad.

The backcourt menace put up 9.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.1 steals a game as a junior while making more than half of his 2-point field goals. That part of his game certainly took a step forward while also finishing among the Big Ten’s leaders in steals and assists. Hepburn earned a spot on the league’s All-Defense team while helping Wisconsin to a 5th place finish and another trip to the Big Dance.

Hepburn dropped 20 points against Arkansas State in his season debut, a total he wouldn’t match again for four months. He still played an important role for the Badgers, including 8 assists in their win at Michigan State and an 18-point effort at Michigan. Hepburn helped Wisconsin to a massive upset over Purdue at the Big Ten Tournament with a season-high 22 points before scoring 20 the following day against Illinois. His final game as a Badger was the upset to James Madison, while his career continues next season at Louisville.
