3. Arthur Kaluma (Kansas State)

A former Top 50 prospect, Kaluma began his collegiate career at Creighton in 2021. Wasting no time, he immediately became a starting forward and impact presence for the Bluejays. Kaluma was an important part of two very talented Creighton squads, including an Elite Eight run during his sophomore year. However, he chose to transfer and landed at Kansas State this past offseason, though he couldn’t quite replicate that same team success with the Wildcats.

Kaluma did have the most productive season of his career, averaging 14.4 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. His shooting numbers were decent while also accumulating 2.0 assists a game as well. Kaluma couldn’t lead the Wildcats to a postseason run or even into the Big Dance, but held his own in the Big 12, standing out as an intriguing scorer and rebounder in the conference.

Among the games of note during Kaluma’s junior year, he scored 28 points in a nice win over Villanova back in early December. He’d play well in upset wins over Baylor and Kansas and even had 28 points and 10 rebounds in a nice home win over BYU. Kansas State’s season featured an NIT appearance and didn’t quite end as Kaluma hoped, but he did play well with 23 points against Iowa State in the home finale. Kansas State won some big games and Kaluma proved he belonged at that stage.
