NCAA Basketball: Top 10 players to wear jersey No. 30 in 2023-24 season

9. Dallin Hall (BYU)
During his freshman season, Hall was a solid contributor for the Cougars, showing plenty of signs for the future. He didn’t stun or star on the big stage this year, but it’s fair to say he showed that growth in year two in Provo. Not only did Hall play more consistently in a productive sophomore season, he was also a starting piece of BYU’s first team in the Big 12; a team that certainly exceeded expectations.
Hall’s second collegiate season saw him put up 9.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. Previously an All-Freshman player in the WCC, he didn’t earn any fancy honors during his first taste of the Big 12 but certainly stood out with his solid assist numbers. It was far from a perfect season for Hall, whose shooting numbers didn’t improve drastically, but he did help take BYU to 23 wins and a trip to the Big Dance.
Early on, Hall dropped 18 points in an important win over San Diego State and remained a consistent weapon for this program. He wasn’t lighting up the court on a nightly basis, though he did have 12 assists in a win over West Virginia and several more double-digit scoring outings in league play. After showing decent growth, Hall played well with 11 points and 6 rebounds in BYU’s upset loss to Duquesne in the Big Dance.
