There’s a lot to like about the sport of basketball, especially at the collegiate level. While the immediate answer for many is the NCAA Tournament, the four months of basketball beforehand give plenty to love about college hoops. Whether it’s holiday tournaments, conference play, rivalry matchups, or even offseason recruiting news, there’s always something abuzz in this sport and intriguing is always around the corner.

We’re currently in that part of the offseason that isn’t exactly the most exciting, though the NBA Draft is just a few weeks away. A few dozen college basketball players will hear their names called and see their dreams come true, but that does mean that everyone else from this past season didn’t matter? Were their accomplishments and achievements meaningless if they didn’t win national glory or get drafted?

This current articles series proves that this isn’t the case, as we’ve been looking closely at intriguing players across the nation. We’ve been doing this by breaking them down solely by uniform number. Few people likely pay much attention to a player’s specific numbers or care how they compare with others who share that jersey number. However, it’s created quite the interesting method of looking at this past season.

On today’s agenda are the best players with #31 on their backs. It’s not exactly a popular number and you won’t find household names on today’s list either. The thirties will continue to provide us with less potential players, though there’s still talent and intriguing stories to tell among these players.
