3. Trey Galloway (Indiana)

Galloway has spent the last four years with the Hoosiers, meaning he’s seen quite a few different sides of that historic program. After a bench role as a freshman under Archie Miller, he’s taken on a much bigger role under Mike Woodson as an upperclassman. This past senior year was undoubtedly his finest on court with Indiana, even if the Hoosiers didn’t quite get back to the Big Dance.

He would put up 10.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game in what was certainly his most productive year in Bloomington. The shooting numbers weren’t exactly stellar, though few complaints were had over a 58% mark from inside the arc. More importantly, Galloway was among the Big Ten’s leaders in assists, had decent steals numbers, and helped the Hoosier tie for 6th in a jam-packed conference race.

His senior season had some nice efforts early, though the true standout was 28 points in a tough home loss to Kansas in the middle of December. That performance remains Galloway’s career-high, though he’d play well with 25 points in a road win at Ohio State a few months later. He did suffer a knee injury that cut his season short in early March, but Galloway contributed in four straight wins to finish the season, including a double-double against Minnesota.
