9. Josh Corbin (Robert Morris)

For the first three years of his career Corbin played at Winthrop but certainly wasn’t making a great impact with the Eagles. He played limited minutes mostly off the bench before transferring to Robert Morris back in 2022. His two years with the Colonels saw him become a regular starter with much more impressive numbers. Even though things didn’t go great in the Horizon League for his program, Corbin found a way to stand out.

In that second campaign with Robert Morris, Corbin would put up 13.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.2 assists a game while making 36% of his 3-pointers. Corbin was one of the Colonels’ top threats and was among the Horizon’s best scorers and 3-point shooters. Again, Robert Morris won just ten games and didn’t exactly excel as a team, but Corbin still found ways to shine for this program.

After missing a few weeks in November, Corbin came back strong with an explosive 34-point effort in a win over Fairleigh Dickinson. There’d be no topping that output, though he’d have several 20-point performances during conference play, including 28 points and 6 assists against Purdue Fort Wayne. This wasn’t the season that Robert Morris wanted, though Corbin’s nice offense kept them closer in many of these league games.
