The college basketball season ended more than two months ago and NBA followed suit just a couple days ago. While the WNBA continues its season, this does mark the end of men’s basketball for the calendar year. Focus recently has been on offseason moves, coaching changes, and prep for the NBA Draft.

We’re obviously focused on just college sports here and it’s important to clarify that the NCAA basketball season is full of intrigue even without games in recent weeks. However, today is not about the Transfer Portal, the coaching carousel, or the NBA Draft. Today is about remembering those recent games on the court by looking at the past season.

We’re doing this by continuing a recent article series, one that has looked at the best players from last year by each jersey number. Obviously, any player could choose or be given any number on the back and front of their uniform; it doesn’t necessarily mean anything based on the specific number. Regardless, this line of thought has been an interesting exercise and has showcased all kinds of talent, both national stars and underrated athletes in smaller leagues.

That focus turns towards #33 today as we continue our slog through the players wearing jerseys in the thirties. These numbers see far fewer individuals than some of the lower numbers, but there’s still a bevy of talent among today’s selection. We’re back to including a few honorable mentions and then we’re diving straight into the Top 10. A few names really floated to the top, but perhaps you’ll learn something or be surprised by some of the other players and programs mentioned today.
