Each passing college basketball season brings intrigue at every corner. Thousands of new faces populate the sport on an annual basis as players pass through school, with high-profile freshman taking the places of legendary veterans and upperclassman. No matter what happens there always seems to be a few memorable players and moments from each season, whether that be from the NCAA Tournament, from crazy upsets, or remarkable buzzer beaters.

The fact of the matter is that there are far more players who are quickly forgotten in this fast-moving sport. The season ended more than two months ago and it’s likely that many names have already fallen off our tongues and out of our heads, especially among players who have completed their collegiate eligibility. Not everyone gets to cut down the nets or take home the fancy awards, but a lot of greatness was had all around this sport.

This article series partially remembers some of those underrated players from last season while also highlighting the best of the best. The series has been looking at the best players from this past year based only off their jersey numbers, and it’s important to remember that uniform numbers don’t really mean anything. Anyone could end up in any particular number.

Our attention today turns towards to #34 and includes a brief look at some of the best players donning that number last year. As mentioned in recent pieces, the number of players wearing jerseys in the thirties isn’t exactly as numerous as the single-digit numbers, though there’s talent here on display today. Without a large group to choose from, we’re diving straight into the Top 10, including a few familiar names at the end.
