3. Bryce Harris (Howard)

Harris is a talented guard from New York who showed his abilities at several different high schools before catching on at the college level. He originally joined Howard back in 2021 and had minor contributions at first. However, he’s become something of a menace for the Bison recently and is fresh off a junior season where he blew his previous numbers and accomplishments out of the water.

That junior year saw him average 16.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, more than doubling both figures from the previous season. Harris made just under 38% of his 3-pointers and could score from all over the court. The league’s top scorer, he was named both First Team All-MEAC and earned a place on the All-Defense team, sitting among the league’s leaders in rebounds, steals, and blocks as well. There wasn’t much that Harris didn’t do for a Bison team that finished 2nd in the MEAC.

Clearly Harris was a high-profile scorer; he even had a perfect 10 for 10 shooting day in a November win at Mount St. Mary’s, scoring 23 points against those Mountaineers. He had a double-double in a road win at La Salle and had several more 20-point efforts during league play, including 20 points and 16 rebounds in a win over Coppin State. He helped lead the Bison to the MEAC Tournament, including 28 points on Morgan State in the opening round, before seeing his season end in the First Four.
