Each college basketball season has a story to tell and many of those narratives find their way into our heads and hearts. The stories told throughout the NCAA Tournament and among the Blue Blood and power conference teams certainly get the most attention, though there’s a lot more to know about this sport. College basketball is an expansive world, with nearly four hundred D1 programs and thousands of people involved in each aspect.

Everyone remembers recent stories like UConn’s national success or Zach Edey’s incredible season. Even other prominent players or moments will be remembered for years to come, while others will fade away over time. After all, how many players and moments does anyone remember from the 2014 NCAA Tournament or the season ten years prior to that?

Knowing that, we’re continuing to honor some of the success of this most recent season by chugging along in our articles series. The focus has been on the best college basketball players wearing each jersey number, and we’ve already looked at nearly two dozen other numbers as a result. There’s no difference between wearing #0 or #23 or any other figure, but it has made for quite the interesting exercise.

The focus in this piece turns towards the players wearing #35 this season. Much like the other jersey numbers in the thirties, there hasn’t exactly been a long list of options to choose from, though there are still some intriguing stories and accomplishments among the players considered today. We’ll be taking a quick look at a people who just missed the cut before diving into the best #35’s from this season.
