4. Isaiah Stevens (Colorado State)

Certainly Colorado State’s most important player during Niko Medved’s tenure, Stevens arrived way back in 2019 and started nearly every game he played the last five seasons for the Rams. This program had good and bad moments throughout his career, but Stevens proved himself as one of the most valuable players in recent memory in the MWC, going out on a high note this past season.

The fifth-year senior put up 16.0 points and 6.8 assists per game while making 44% of his 3-pointers with great all around offensive figures. Stevens earned All-MWC honors for a fifth time and finished 5th in the entire nation in assists. His career ended with him ranking among the all-time scoring leaders in the MWC, with this final season including another appearance and win in the NCAA Tournament.

Stevens dropped 22 points and 14 assists early in the season on Wright State and would have a handful of double-doubles on the year. He played well when it mattered most, scoring 20 points in key wins over Creighton, Colorado, and San Diego throughout the season. His final regular season game was a 29-point affair at Air Force before helping steady the Rams in a First Four win over Virginia before his season ended against Texas.
