25. Florida State Seminoles

The Florida State Seminoles have struggled over the past three seasons. Last season marked the third straight year FSU has failed to participate in postseason play. Entering 2024-25, the Seminoles will have their work cut out.

Overall, it’s clear that the Seminoles are a few steps behind ACC relevance. Many of their top players are gone, including the departures of Primo Spears (UTSA), Jalen Warley (Virginia) and Darin Green Jr. (graduation).

The return of Jamir Watkins -- one of the few bright spots from last year’s team --  keeps the Seminoles from a complete free-fall. However, the impact of incoming freshman Daquan Davis will be a key to Florida State’s success in 2024-25.

Davis, a 6-foot-1 point guard four-star PG from Overtime Elite who previously committed to Providence, will be tasked with immediately running the point guard spot given the high volume of departees in the Seminoles’ backcourt.

Despite his smaller frame, Davis is a quick, three-level scorer with superb court vision, making him a unique -- yet needed -- fit in Leonard Hamilton’s system that usually utilizes its depth and length to its advantage.

According to 24/7 Sports Recruiting, Daquan Davis is the eighth highest-rated point guard in the class of 2024, meaning he will undoubtedly serve an instrumental role as Florida State looks to get its program back on track.
