10. Gonzaga Bulldogs

Few programs have as rich of history with transfers and their impact is Gonzaga, whose group from last season was good enough to overcome an early rough start to make yet another Sweet 16. They landed four guys, with Colgate transfers and Patriot League POY guard Braeden Smith set to redshirt and sit out next season.

The others are set to go, starting with Michael Ajayi, one of the earliest pickups by anyone in the portal. He’s a 6’7 forward from Pepperdine, coming off averaging 17.2 ppg and 9.9 rpg in his long D-I season, shooting 47% from deep in limited attempts. He’s the replacement for the team’s lone lost rotation player, Anton Watson.

The other big pickup was Khalif Battle, one of the elite pure scorers from the portal. He’s coming off averaging 14.8 ppg as a 6th Man at Arkansas, shooting 35% from deep and putting up nearly 30 ppg in the final seven games, including 42 points versus Missouri.

Emmanuel Innocenti flies under the radar for the team, a 6’5 forward from Tarleton State. He averaged 6.6 ppg and 2.9 apg and nearly two steals a game, earning All-WAC defensive honors. He’s a long-term prospect for the team who adds to the depth. These guys give them a ton of depth for next season, making them another Final Four threat.
