22. TCU Horned Frogs

The Frogs lost its top eight scorers from last season, including outgoing transfer forwards, Miach Peavy and JaKobe Coles. Starting center Ernest Udeh Jr. is back, joined by six transfers, all of whom were quality scorers at their previous stops.

The most proven player on the team is Frankie Collins, who led Arizona State with 13.8 ppg and 3.2 apg, while also being an all-league defender. Noah Reynolds was a star at Green Bay, producing a team-leading 20.0 ppg and 4.5 apg. And Vasean Allette (17.4 ppg and 3.1 apg) comes over from Old Dominion after a strong freshman campaign.

In the frontcourt, 6’7 wing Brendan Wenzel comes over from Wyoming after averaging 11.6 ppg and 5.1 rpg, including 38% shooting from deep. The big name joining him is Trazarien White, a 6’6 forward from UNC Wilmington. He led the team with 19.8 ppg and 6.8 rpg, shooting 49% from the field and multiple games with at least 30 points.

Both White and Wenzel may be a bit undersized in the new-look frontcourt but TCU has a ton of offensive firepower among its newcomers. It would’ve been nice if they could’ve added more size but if these mid-major transfers can translate to the Big 12 level, this could be a darkhorse threat in the league.
