24. Max Shulga - VCU Rams

2023-24 season stats: 14.0 ppg and 3.6 apg

In his first year in the A-10, Shulga posted career-high numbers as the lead guard for VCU, including shooting 40% from three-point range. Except for DaRon Holmes of Dayton, the rest of the stars from the conference this season have either already graduated or entered the transfer portal. Shulga electing to return could make the Rams a team to beat in 2025.

23. Chris Youngblood - South Florida Bulls

2023-24 season stats: 15.3 ppg and 2.5 rpg

After starring at Kennesaw State, Youngblood was the star of the surprise AAC champs, earning Conference Player of the Year. The Bulls have the chance to return its top five scorers from this past season but Youngblood is the guy to watch. After this big past year, could he be a draft/portal candidate?

22. Dajuan Harris Jr. - Kansas Jayhawks

2023-24 season stats: 8.5 ppg and 6.5 apg

Harris has his flaws as an offensive option but besides being one of the best pure passers in NCAA Basketball, he’s also a former Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year winner. Barring Elmarko Jackson taking a big leap, Kansas doesn’t have a lead guard with experience on the current roster. And without Kevin McCullar around, they’ll really need the perimeter defense that Harris excels at.
