9. Dillon Mitchell - Texas Longhorns

2023-24 season stats: 9.6 ppg and 7.5 rpg

Mitchell is a former 5-star prospect who has shown he can defend and rebound at a high level, making him an intriguing portal target. The sophomore combo forward, who shot 60% from the field in two years, produced eight double-doubles and had a 21-point outing against UConn. At the right spot, Mitchell’s offense could breakout, which would make him one of the top players in all of NCAA Basketball.

8. Arthur Kaluma - Kansas State Wildcats

2023-24 season stats: 14.4 ppg and 7.0 rpg

After transferring over from Creighton, Kaluma’s production rose with more of a role in the offense, including shooting a career-high 35% from deep. The junior forward had six games of at least 20 points, including 28 points and 10 rebounds in a win over BYU. He’s in the NBA Draft process and is a modern-day spacing forward who could go pro but if not, will command a ton of attention from those needing another offensive threat inside.

7. Cam Christie - Minnesota Gophers

2023-24 season stats: 11.3 ppg and 3.6 rpg

The 6’6 guard/wing started 26 games as a freshman for Minnesota, shooting 39% from deep on over five attempts a game. Christie had six games with at least 18 points, including a 23-point outing on the road at Illinois. He’s in the NBA Draft process and could follow the path of his brother and former Michigan State guard, Max Christie, in being a “one and done” to the NBA. If he returns, Cam would be a major breakout candidate.
