30. Tyson Acuff - Rutgers Scarlet Knights

2023-24 season stats (at Eastern Michigan): 21.7 ppg and 2.8 apg

One of the top scorers in all of NCAA Basketball last season, Acuff shot 43% from the field at nearly 19 shot attempts on average. The 6’4 guard had eight games with at least 29 points, including 34 points and 10 rebounds against Bowling Green. The 5th-year senior will add a scoring boost to a Rutgers team that’s going to be young, led by the 5-star freshmen guard duo of Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper.

29. Brandon Johnson - Miami Hurricanes

2023-24 season stats (at East Carolina): 14.0 ppg and 8.6 rpg

The 6’8 forward was second on the Pirates in scoring this past season, including a 30-point outing on the road at UTSA. He joins a Miami team that was very small last season in the frontcourt and is projected to start. Johnson’s arrival should allow Matthew Cleveland to play on the wing, which should help the team's defense next season.

28. Mikeal Brown-Jones - Ole Miss Rebels

2023-24 season stats (at UNCG): 18.9 ppg and 7.5 rpg

After two years at VCU, Brown-Jones had two big years at UNCG, earning All-SoCon honors. He led them in scoring and rebounding, including 10 games with 20+ points. That includes two games with 39 points scorer. He joins a Rebels’ roster that could lose almost all its frontcourt players, depending on which ones use their covid year next season or not.
