27. Marcus Foster - Xavier Musketeers

2023-24 season stats (at Furman): 17.0 ppg and 7.5 rpg

The 5th year senior had a breakout campaign as a full-time starter, second in scoring while leading them in rebounding as a 6’4 guard. Foster had back-to-back 30-point games against Liberty and Coastal Carolina, along with 17 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists in a win over The Citadel. He joins a Xavier backcourt featuring Dayvion McKnight and will be the replacement for last season’s leading scorer, Quincy Olivari.

26. Brandon Huntley-Hatfield - NC State Wolfpack

2023-24 season stats (at Louisville): 12.9 ppg and 8.4 rpg

On a Louisville roster that ultimately finished last in the ACC, the 6’10 big man was one of the few bright spots in league play. Huntley-Hatfield finished the season with 11 straight double-digit scoring outings, including 29 points in a win over FSU. He’s set to be the natural replacement for DJ Burns at NC State at center next season, their first portal commitment.

25. Kobe Johnson - UCLA Trojans

2023-24 season stats (at USC): 10.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 3.3 apg

On a team with Boogie Ellis and Isaiah Collier, Johnson was quietly effective in his own right, earning all-defense in the Pac-12 for two years in a row. The sophomore had a strong end to the season, with four straight games with 14+ points. The two-way remains in Los Angeles, now with the UCLA Bruins, a team that had too many guards who weren’t ready for prime time. Johnson, likely a starter, gives Coach Cronin a talented defender to work with.
