14. Arizona Wildcats

2023-24 season record: 27-9 (15-5 Pac-12)

Arizona is another tricky roster to look at because they realistically only have one core rotation player who’s very likely to return. But per the rules, I’m going to project that both Caleb Love and Pelle Larsson will be back. That would be huge for the team since they’re both double-digit veteran creators.

Love led the team with 18.0 ppg and 3.4 apg and had some big outings for the Wildcats. They also will have Jaden Bradley back, who was one of the better reserve guards in the country. With Kylan Boswell currently in the portal, the backcourt should remain in good shape.

The frontcourt, on the other hand, has work to do. Keshad Johnson doesn’t have any more eligibility, while star big man Oumar Ballo (12.9 ppg and 10.1 rpg) has also transferred out. Plus, backup center Dylan Anderson also is gone. That currently leaves Henri Veesaar and Motiejus Krivas inside, so expect them to try to find a couple of bigs in the portal.

Coach Tommy Lloyd does currently have the No. 2 overall recruiting class, led by five-star guards/wings, Joson Sanon and Carter Bryant. Their impact will determine how viable the Wildcats will be in their first year in the Big 12 next season.
