23. Texas A&M Aggies

2023-24 season record: 21-15 (9-9 SEC)

It was certainly an up-and-down campaign for Texas A&M last season but they still managed to get back into the NCAA Tournament. And if Wade Taylor returns for another year, they’ll be competitive in the SEC again. He led the team with 19.1 ppg and 4.0 apg this past season and had numerous big outings for them.

Among those that are definitely gone are Tyrece Radford and Eli Lawrence. There are a few players with “covid year” decisions to watch for, including guards Andersson Garcia and Hayden Hefner, along with forward Henry Coleman Jr.

Among those who are on track to come back include veterans Jace Carter, Manny Obaseki, and Solomon Washington. These are players with the ability to score in their own right and even if Taylor were to move on, Texas A&M should have enough talent to be competitive.

If Julius Marble were to return, this team should have enough frontcourt depth, though they likely will want another body. In an SEC that’s already gone through the changes, let’s see what the Aggies come up with in the next couple of months.
