Following a full and exciting first few rounds of action at the NCAA Tournament, we have our remaining teams in the Sweet Sixteen. These teams fought tooth and nail for months to get into this position and now four games are all that remains between each of these teams and a chance at eternal glory in Phoenix. It’s an unforgivable event, but these sixteen teams remain after all their hard work and successes in recent weeks.

It’s a field devoid of a true Cinderella team, something that’s certainly been present in recent years. There’s no huge underdog, as the only double-digit seed in the Sweet Sixteen is 11-seed NC State, who recently won five games in five days to even make the Big Dance as ACC Tournament champions. The second-lowest remaining seed is 6-seed Clemson, another ACC teams that’s shown true brilliance at times this season.

The best teams in the nation are still alive, including all four 1-seeds and 2-seeds from this Tournament field. A lack of upsets by no means describes a disappointing first weekend of the Big Dance; it means we’re getting some amazing matchups next weekend. We won’t dive into each of these matchups right here, but know that some incredible basketball will be played by these teams starting on Thursday.

Instead, we’re diving into the starting rotations on these remaining teams in the Sweet Sixteen. This isn’t about ranking the teams as a whole or their chances to win the NCAA Tournament, but how their starting five’s compare against each other. Teams that rely more on their bench may appear lower than expected, but it’s clear that there are some incredible basketball players whose teams are alive in this Tournament. Let’s get right into this deep dive, as we’ve got 80 starters to examine.
