1. Battle of the bigs -- run through Edey

Who said the traditional style of basketball is dead?

Addressing the elephant in the room, it will be a battle of the bigs on Saturday. College basketball’s best player, awarded in numerous accolades with record-setting outings versus college basketball’s buzziest, media-friendly figure. In other words, it is Zach Edey versus DJ Burns.

Both Edey and Burns play a traditional style of basketball, utilizing their back-to-the-basket skillset given their copious frames.

Despite the imposing nature of DJ Burns, Purdue must not shy away from what they know best, which is running through their best player Zach Edey. After all, it is what has gotten Purdue one of the best offenses in the country.

Running through Edey allows Purdue to set the tone early. Edey is known to draw many fouls, which gets him to the free-throw line but it also could present a foul trouble issue for DJ Burns.
