DaRon Holmes II is the leading scorer for the Flyers and I believe will be the reason Dayton can make any sort of run. Even with his height and stature, he can move well on the court and make shots. He averages 20.4 points per game which is more than a lot of who the experts consider the best big men in the country.
Holmes does more than just score, he also is great at rebounding thanks to his height by grabbing 8.4 rebounds per game on the boards. He also shoots well averaging just over 20 points a game and a shooting percentage of 54.5 percent.
Holmes has scored over 20 points in four straight games and he will have to do that again to stop these Nevada guards. Holmes needs to use his size on the glass be physical under the basket and not let anyone push him out.
