Big men make big plays and here are the top big men in the West Region.

507. Freshman. 3. player. JT Toppin. West big men. . . JT Toppin. 6'9" 210 lbs

While JT Toppin has the height for a big man, he is smaller in stature, but that definitely doesn't stop him. Toppin is one of the best players for the Lobos and is a big reason I have them upsetting Clemson in the first round of the tournament.

Toppin is average when it comes to points per game with 12.5, but he is in the top 50 players when it comes to rebounding averaging 9.0 per game. He also shoots very well from the floor at 63 percent. Toppin is a play maker on this team and when paired with the guards that I have the top eight in the West Region, this team is scary.

Toppin may not light up the scoreboard, but with his ability to rebound, he can get the Lobos second opportunities on possessions which is never good for the opposite team. Also once he gets hot with his shot, he is unstoppable. Toppin may not body guys and beat them up in the paint, but he certainly is scary once his shot leaves his hand.
