The Golden Eagles' defensive tenacity limited their opponents' offensive opportunities, particularly in the second half, where they stifled Western Illinois to secure a commanding lead.
The momentum shift in the third quarter, marked by a 14-0 run, highlighted Tennessee Tech's resilience and determination. Carter's flawless shooting from beyond the arc, coupled with Owens' steady contribution, propelled the Golden Eagles to a decisive victory.
