While the Iowa women’s basketball team is the talk of the town this season, the men’s basketball team isn’t all that bad. The Hawkeyes finished the regular season at 18-14 overall and sixth in the Big Ten.
However, Fran McCaffery has won just six games in NCAA Tournaments, an abysmal 33.3 percent win rate.
In fact, the Hawkeyes have never even made it past the Round of 32 under McCaffery.
After a 12-point loss to Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament, the Hawkeyes may not even make the Big Dance, but if they do, don’t send them deep in your March Madness bracket.
