2. Creighton has solidified themselves as contenders

There was no question as to whether the Creighton Blue Jays were going to have a successful season, but they have been battling with Seton Hall for that third spot in the conference, and they have had some tough losses over the past couple of weeks. But this week, they went out and dominated opponents they were supposed to beat, and the Blue Jays looked like the team they were expected to be.

Ryan Kalkbrenner and crew have started to get back into their usual flow, which has been great for this conference and its parity as they look to take down UConn. They take on the Huskies in their next matchup, and for a team that will probably see them in the Big East Tournament, they have to play a solid game to show they can hang with the top team in the nation. The Blue Jays are always one of those sneaky teams that can go out and make some noise in both the NCAA Tournament and the upcoming Big East Tournament.

However, they have also looked vulnerable to losses against teams well under them, but they are a team that usually gets hot around this time of year. That is exactly what they are doing, but we will see if they can continue to handle the chaos that is the Big East Conference. They will need to continue their strong season shooting from behind the arc, and if they get hot from downtown they can dominate anybody in this conference.
