Last season, Robert Morris Basketball went 4-7 overall in its non-conference campaign. Two of them were against non-D1 opponents, with its best result coming in a 75-73 road win over rival Saint Francis in what ended up being a thriller.

But there were some rough spots too, suffering home losses to Delaware, Cornell, and Jacksonville. The team finished 10-22 overall and 9th in the Horizon League standings. This time around, the Colonials have a more friendly schedule, with seven games coming at home this time around.

In what's going to be a very important season for the program, here's a power ranking of the non-con opponents for Robert Morris Basketball. Chatham, the local D-III opponent, will be last but like what happened with Point Park a year ago, shouldn't be viewed as an automatic blowout, since they're set to return multiple double-digit scorers from last season's roster. Here's the other 10 D-I foes.

10. Stonehill Skyhawks- 2023-24 record: 4-27 (2-14 NEC)

It was a rough second year for the Skyhawks at the D-II level, getting just three wins versus D-I foes. All three double-digit scorers from last season are gone but look for 6'4 guard Chas Stinson (7.0 ppg) to be a breakout candidate for them. Their top incoming transfer is Josh Morgan, a 6'3 guard who averaged 7.8 ppg at Incarnate Word.

9. New Orleans Privateers - 2023-24 record: 10-23 (4-14 Southland)

Another rebuilding program on the schedule is New Orleans, which lost its double-digit scorers. That includes Jordan Johnson, who led the Southland with 21.3 ppg. Jamond Vicent, who averaged 8.4 ppg and 5.7 rpg (led team), is the top returning player, joined by James White, a former 4-star prospect who had previously played at Ole Miss and UAB.
