Key Reserves for Seton Hall Basketball

G- JR Zion Harmon

A once very hyped recruit who ended up with Bethune-Cookman to start his career now finds himself in South Orange, New Jersey. Harmon can score with ease and put up 14.6 points per game for the Wildcats last season, but he will need to hit a second-gear in the Big East Conference.

The Pirates needed scoring, and he can provide that quite well off the bench as a sixth man for The Hall, it is just a matter of what role he earns for this team.

G- SO. Garwey Dual

As a physical guard with plenty of eligibility remaining, Garwey Dual can find a place on this team whether that is this year or next year. But he can be a spark plug off the bench for these Pirates.

He is known for throwing a punch in the Bahamas last season against Kansas State, but that was a one-time, on-the-court occurrence. Time will tell if issues of that nature will arise under Holloway, but Dual can still emerge as a key contributor.

F- SO David Tubek

When it came to David Tubek, injuries prevented him from playing more this past season. The hope is that he is healthy now, and can carve out the role that was expected out of him as a young player last season.

Like Coleman, he can benefit from the immense turnover of this roster, and he has great size as a forward. The Pirates need depth in this area, and Tubek could be a huge piece for this team.

F- JR. Emmanuel Okorafor

Emmanuel Okorafor, the Louisville transfer was a player that has clear talent but the role just was not there for him. He also dealt with an ankle injury in both his freshman and sophomore seasons, so the hope is that he can stay healthy this season.

At 6'9 he is a tad undersized for the big man spot, but he is a talented rebounder who can log some key minutes among the big man depth this team has.

F- JR Prince Aligbe

As another one of those 6'7 guard/forwards a winning program needs, it is unclear exactly what role Prince Aligbe will have this season. He has the tools to succeed in the Big East, but it was tough for him to find a ton of minutes for Boston College.

He had multiple clutch moments for the Eagles, but now he has a chance to find a consistent role for a Big East squad where anybody can step up. The talent is there for Aligbe, but it just depends on the opportunities he earns whether or not he sees the floor a ton.

F- SO. Gus Yalden

As a highly ranked big man, Gus Yalden stayed home at Wisconsin when he committed to the Badgers. Unfortunately for him, he did not make any appearances for them last season. Now, he enters the portal and finds a home in New Jersey.

The Pirates need someone to step up to plug the middle for this team, and Yalden can be that if he earns his keep. He still is just a sophomore so Okorafor may see more burn, but Yalden may surprise some people this season.
