Seton Hall Basketball: 2024-25 season preview for the Pirates
By John Makuch
Overall outlook for Seton Hall Basketball
The Seton Hall Pirates should expect to not be as good as they were last season, and it may be tough for them to adjust considering the turnover of this roster. Seton Hall has had rough early-season play these past few years, so having these relatively easy games early on will be important for them to tune up.
This is a team that was snubbed from the NCAA Tournament this past season, and Holloway's staff will want to get their revenge for that misstep by the committee last season.
This team can finish anywhere from the bottom half of the Big East, to the top half and an NCAA Tournament bid. If the Pirates do make it to March, this will be his best coaching job since the Saint Peters Cinderella run.
Expect adversity, but Holloway has gotten his teams through that time and time again. Seton Hall has a tough road ahead of them as this roster will have to learn to play with each other before the season truly gets underway. But they have the leader to get through this storm, the question is, will they?
