1. Rank these Pirates, now.

Alright, we can stop the discussions and debate and confusion as to why the Seton Hall Pirates were not in the most recent AP Top 25 poll. And yes there is still another game to go, that one being the Creighton game on Saturday, but it is time to put these Pirates in the rankings after a blowout like this.

These were two teams on the border of being ranked, and with the Pirates sitting atop the Big East, it is hard to not rank them after some of the big-time wins they have picked up. They also boast a double-digit win over the No. 1 team in the country the UConn Huskies, which made it shocking they were not ranked in this last poll. With teams like this, you always see the voters wait until they prove themselves without a shadow of a doubt, and this win might have just done that.

Yes, there still is the Creighton game to go, but this resume just continues to stack up for the Seton Hall Pirates. They have bad losses like the Rutgers game earlier in the year, but they have done enough to atone for that with how they have performed in Big East play. This is not a team that needs a number next to their name to get the recognition they deserve, and if anything, not having that recognition might just make them play a bit hungrier to earn that title.

But the Pirates have played just as well as most of those teams in that ranking, so it is time to rip the bandaid off and put the Pirates in the rankings. This can all change depending on how the Creighton game goes, but at this rate, the Seton Hall Pirates will find their way in there at one point or another.
