The Seton Hall Pirates and the Creighton Blue Jays battled in a ridiculous triple-overtime clash at the Prudential Center on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Jays ended up coming out on top in this memorable matchup 97-94.

This game left you just in awe and booked itself as a classic battle in the Big East, and one of the best these two teams have played. The atmosphere of the Prudential Center was electric as well with a sold-out crowd for a Pirate team that has impressed all season long.

Seton Hall ended up having a five-point lead late in the third overtime after an Al-Amir Dawes three, but Creighton ended up storming back and taking the lead with 49 seconds to go. Trey Alexander hit a wild three after the Pirates took the lead back, and they were unable to make a final response to that.

While on the losing side, this is one of the more crushing ways you can lose a basketball game, both teams put together great performances and battle all the way through. For this to be one of Seton Hall's two Big East losses, there is still a level of satisfaction to be had.

Kadary Richmond finished this game with a triple-double with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. Even though he had a poor day when it came to efficiency with an 8-32 shooting clip, he still greatly impacted other areas on the floor. However, the efficiency has to be better in the future. this game can be notched down as a moral victory, but there are no moral victories in the wins and losses column, so what is there to take away?
