This is what you bring Rick Pitino to St. John's for, a chance to take down the top team in the nation in your home arena. One of the greatest coaches in the sport has yet another chance to add to his resume, but also an opportunity to prove that this hire was worth it for the Red Storm. This team sits at 5-5 in Big East play, and the rebuild has not exactly gone as quickly as these fans would have wanted, but a win on Saturday would eliminate a lot of the criticism surrounding Pitino.

St. John's is coming off a tough loss to Xavier, a game where Daniss Jenkins did all he could with 25 points on 11-17 shooting, but the Musketeers took that win 88-77. There is a lot to take away from that game and a lot to improve for this team before they take on such a good UConn squad. This team has been looking for that game where they come together as an all-around unit and show how good they really can be, but doing that against the Huskies will be a tall task.

The only Big East opponent to defeat UConn this season is Seton Hall, who also won that game when Donovan Clingan was injured in the middle of that matchup at the Prudential Center. But now that team is fully healthy and ready to continue their dominance in the Big East Conference. But how can this team pull off the upset?
